We provide health and wellbeing services. We empower people and communities to develop personally and collectively, with a focus on marginalised communities. Key to our mission is partnership working.

METRO Staff and Volunteers

We are looking for people with ambition, creativity and commitment to help deliver our diverse spectrum of work. Volunteering at METRO

METRO have over 30 years of experience of working with volunteers. We have different opportunities for committed, creative people with a willingness to learn and share their experience. You can expect:

  • To be treated with fairness
  • Reimbursed for expenses
  • Receive training relevant to your role
  • Get involved in organisational issues
  • Be provided with ongoing support and supervision. 


For some opportunities, before you start volunteering with us, you will need to have a DBS check . Sometimes, depending on the opportunity this will need to be an enhanced check.
